Big Mac Wraps
Ingredients:
4 large whole wheat tortillas
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup dill pickle slices, chopped
1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup Thousand Island dressing
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and ground beef (or plant-based alternative), seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned, about 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula.
Once cooked, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Stir in the chopped dill pickles.
Lay out each tortilla on a flat surface. Begin by spreading a generous tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing in the center of each tortilla.
Layer the cooked beef mixture evenly on top of the dressing, followed by shredded lettuce and cheddar cheese.
Fold the sides of the tortilla in then roll from the bottom up to create the wrap.
Slice in half if desired and serve immediately, or wrap in foil for a delicious take-out option!
