Classic Waffle Recipe

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1¾ cups milk
1/2 cup melted butter (or vegetable oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined. (Don’t overmix—some small lumps are fine.)
Grease the waffle iron if needed, then pour the batter into the center and close the lid.
Cook until golden brown and crisp (usually 3–5 minutes depending on your waffle maker).
Serve warm with butter, syrup, fruits, whipped cream, or toppings of your choice.
