Irish Beef & Guinness Stew

A hearty and flavorful stew with tender beef, root vegetables, and a rich Guinness broth.
Ingredients:
• 1 lb beef stew meat (cubed)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 onion #2 cone
• 2 cloves garlic #2 cone
• 2 carrots #4 cone
• 2 potatoes #3 cone
• 1 can Guinness beer (or beef broth)
• 2 cups beef broth
• 1 tbsp tomato paste
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 tsp thyme
• ½ tsp salt & pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in the SaladMaster 5 Qt. (4.7L) Multi-Purpose Oil Core with Cover over medium heat. Add beef and sear until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
3. Stir in carrots, potatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
4. Pour in Guinness and beef broth. Return beef to the pot.
5. Cover, turn to medium once clicking turn to low for 1 hour. 
6. Serve hot with Irish soda bread!
