One-Pot Cajun Shrimp & Rice

Utensil:

Saladmaster Food Processor

4qt Mezzo or SaladMaster MP5 Liquid Core Crock Pot

Ingredients:
• 1 cup rice (rinsed)
• 2 cups chicken broth
• ½ lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
• 1 bell pepper #3 cone
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
• 2 cloves garlic #2 cone
Instructions:
1. Heat olive oil in the 4qt Mezzo or SaladMaster MP5 Liquid Core Crock Pot over medium heat.
2. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking for 3 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
3. In the same pan, sauté garlic, bell pepper, and cherry tomatoes for 2 minutes.
4. Add rice and chicken broth. Cover, turn to medium, once clicking turn to low for 15 minutes.
5. Stir in cooked shrimp, cover, and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
