Country Ranch Green Beans 'n Potatoes with Bacon
A flavorful side dish that's sure to be a hit at any meal!
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional for extra crispiness)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Wash and trim the green beans, and cut the baby potatoes into halves or quarters, depending on size.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble when cool.
Step 2: Season and Roast
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved potatoes and green beans.
Pour the melted butter over the vegetables, then add the minced garlic, ranch seasoning mix, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together to coat evenly.
Step 3: Bake the Dish
Spread the seasoned potatoes and green beans on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the potatoes are tender and golden brown.
